Interior designers often students learn about the history of their profession
training, interior designers, students often learn the history of their profession. This can be a very important way to give context to their later careers. In this article I will use my experience as an interior designer and educator to discuss the history of this exciting field
The first professional interior designers are based in London -. The British were intrigued by the Egyptian technical articles for interior decoration, and wanted the same for them. London has become desperate families to hire an interior designer to create magical spaces and customize their interiors. As interior designers came to be recognized as professionals, who increasingly found the need to rely on history to create great results. This was particularly true when creating designs of historic houses in London and listed buildings -. They saw a historical reflection as a means of preserving the past while looking to the future
The Romans
In ancient Rome, citizens demanded comfort, luxury and wealth. These elements are still important in the work of interior designers around the world today. The decor, tapestries and iconic stones remain today as timeless and popular in London and Tokyo and Sydney. The Romans loved pieces of furniture and I liked the quality of fabrics and expensive.
MONKS TimesAfter the fall of the Roman Empire, the church took over and largely discouraged the most creative interior designers. opulent interiors were removed and the interior designers were invited to install oak panels quiet and simple, with dark lines and sharp edges. This influence was felt throughout Europe – all the way from London to Florence
RENAISSANCE AND RENAISSANCE
The Renaissance saw the rise of professional French or French-style interior designers .. It was a new era of elegance and sophistication, which saw the rebuilding of the community of London interior design and a new look to creative living spaces and beautiful. The “palace” feeling has been rediscovered, and interior designers have begun using the new transport routes across London to the continent and the Americas to return to his profession and for announcing the next generation of design.
This makes the end of my article on how the work of interior designers has changed over the centuries. In my next article I will reflect on how interior designers use patterns within a large effect.
